The BishopSound BP2K includes a number of features to give the best performance for all passive PA speakers. The amplifier runs quiet and cool in any rack. Critically silent when powered up but with no signal.

The musicality of this amplifier beats most HiFi power amplifiers and monoblocks. I even use mine at home on a pair of Epos ES14 it’s like driving a Ferrari in a 30 mph limit, smooth, stable and very sophisticated.

Designed to run down to 200v at which point the amplifier will go into protect mode. As soon as the voltage is restored you will be able to use the amplifier again. This is important if you are running a power amplifier off a generator with an unstable power regulator.

1U amplifiers must be kept cool!  High-speed fans are built-in but the only source of airflow is from the front vents so it is of the utmost importance to check monthly and keep these clean and free from clogging up with dust and dirt.

The project to provide a cost-effective method of powering our passive speakers came about due to QSC, Crown, and others pricing their amplifiers beyond the reach of performers who are having to work on lower margins than ever before.
